Avanti Village Hotel- Day 1

AVANTI VILLAGE HOTEL

So I finally sit here to blog about the hotel where we stayed when we were in Cyprus. It’s called the Avanti Village Hotel. It is a family-friendly hotel and we choose it among other nice hotels for the sake of our little girl who is just a year and a half. We wanted to stay in a place where our little one can enjoy it too. It was a hard decision at first when we book our trip because as much as we want to stay in a nice hotel with a beach view, of course, we also have to think about the location and its pros and cons. At first, we choose a nice hotel located in Aiya Napa. And then the Avanti Village which is located at Paphos is also good and we thought it’s best for us and baby girl.

The trip was booked six days before our flight. It was great and quite exciting. You do not have to wait weeks or months to finally arrive on that date. It was like, we go there next week…. ok why not? We first thought we come back to Greece but then I thought of my friend who works in Cyprus so we decided why not go there so we can meet her at the same time. So we tried to find a tour package to Cyprus and we chose to go to Paphos and we booked it. We have about five or six hotels to choose from the package tour and we found Avanti nice and tempting. The photos from the website are just so beautiful not to go there. So we choose it.
However, we thought that the hotel was near the beach and we can see it on our hotel terrace. But the photo on the website seems to lie to us. There is no beach next to the hotel and the terrace view we had was a road. There was no beach where we can walk right after the hotel. It was frustrating honestly. The beach was a few minute’s walks. Not really in front of the hotel as what we’ve thought it was.
Somehow, the pool was huge and pretty. And the kiddy pool is pretty as well. We spent too many hours in the pool swimming and playing with a baby girl. Our villa was huge. King-sized bed and baby’s crib was also set up. We have a kitchen, living room and terrace. We can cook if we want to. It was great that they have a microwave because we always heat the baby’s food. They also provide a high chairs for babies. And ohh I love the bathtub. Soaking my body there almost every night enjoying the bubble bath just before going to bed. The room isn’t that nice actually but the size is a big plus for family vacationers. I do not like their linen much but it was fine. We slept well and we enjoyed it.
When we arrived it was raining hard. And it was cold. We were worried that it may rain the whole week while we’re there. But after that day it was sunny and warm. It was perfect weather to swim and get tan. I can highly recommend Avanti Village to family vacationers with little ones.
