Sweet Treats: Chocolate Munchkins

Hey lovelies, today I made some yummy snacks. I took a few photos so I could share it on the blog as well. Its a three ingredients recipe, easy and simple to make. All you need is a chocolate cookie, condensed milk, and grated coconut. There is no fresh coconut in Finland obviously, so I used the packed one instead. Also, I cannot find an Oreo cookie here, so I just used normal chocolate cookies. You can use any cookies as you want, by the way!

This is an easy recipe we always make when I was still in the Philippines. We called it munchkins. You may call it chocolate cookie balls in your place, but there we call it chocolate munchkins. It’s actually the same as the cake pops, this is just easier to make. So are you ready to sweet treats yourself? Read below for the recipe. Enjoy!

Chocolate Munchkins Recipe

You will need:

1 pack of chocolate cookies
condensed milk
coconut grated

Crush your chocolate cookies to make them crumbs or to very tiny pieces like a powder-like. I used a blender to crush them, but I cut the cookies into small pieces first before I put them in the blender. Blend a small portion of cookies at a time.

As soon as you have cookie crumbs, transfer them into a bowl or any container.
Add condensed milk. Add milk little by little to the cookies mixture. You have to estimate the milk just enough for the cookies to be soft and fine to make balls.
Using a spoon or fork mix it carefully.

Make small balls.

Put coconut grated in a plate or any container. I used square box so it’s easy to just shake the box to make the cookie balls covered with coconut.
You can also use your hands to sprinkles the coconut grated onto your cookie balls.
Or simply roll your chocolate munchkins into the grated coconut.
Serve with milk. It’s so delicious easy snack. Enjoy your chocolate munchkins.
Also, it tastes good when it’s cold. So better put in the fridge before you eat them.
